Does Podhigai Nursery work with TNPL?

Yes, Podhigai Nursery states that it supplies harvested pulp wood to Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) and carries out debarking and chipping work under TNPL mill work orders. These activities form part of our work in the pulp-wood production and supply chain.

Our harvesting services cover pulp wood from farmers' fields and plantations, including plantations associated with TAFCORN and the Forest Department. The process can involve cutting trees, removing bark, chipping the wood and arranging its supply to the mill, depending on the work requirements.

For farmers growing Casuarina or Eucalyptus, access to harvesting support and suitable wood buyers is an important consideration when planning a commercial plantation. Podhigai Nursery supplies clonal planting material and also offers services related to pulp-wood harvesting.

You can learn more about our Harvesting Service and explore our Clonal Casuarina Nursery page to understand the plants we supply.
